When Locke stated that he would surely be dead if he still had a
kidney there...
Seems irrelevant to me, since the injury that he sustained from the
gunshot wound should have killed him at any rate.
Surely he could not have gotten up and 'got going' so quickly, unless
the island was thoroughly screwing with reality.
So whether he has a kidney there or not, is still an open question.
