Do you think the video from the ROVs were faked? I suppose that is possible.
I didn't follow find815.com all the way through, but didn't Sam see the
video from the ROVs in real time? That would have been nearly impossible
to fake, especially since the people who hired the Christiane I weren't
expecting Sam to be on board.
Unless the people who hired the Christiane I already had a method to
fake the finding of Oceanic 815, but that would still be difficult,
since they would have to be familiar with the equipment used by the
Christiane I ahead of time. It looked to me like Sam had a better feel
for the electronics on the boat than the people who hired it.
